An international fashion research project exploring the 'craft of use'

Bay Area, California: Local Wisdom Photoshoot

  • Kate and Katelyn | September 12, 2012

In July we squeezed in two community photoshoots with our partner institution California College of the Arts (CCA). Local Wisdom's CCA lead researcher, Lynda Grose and her team set up the first shoot in the Mission District of SF and the second in Marin City. Both days were true sensory experiences, with amazing backdrops, a capella singing (in Marin) and blue, translucent Northern California sky.

A huge thank you to all who participated in both days... so many inventive and unique garment use practices were gathered!
