The Craft of Use Book and Soundtrack

The Craft of Use Book includes eighteen images and excerpts of interviews from the Local Wisdom project, in which Kate Fletcher has gathered stories from the public of how they use their garments in resourceful and satisfying ways. The soundtrack has been created by Angus Carlyle using recordings from these interviews which have taken place in 13 different cities worldwide since 2009. The book and soundtrack were recently shown as part of the Craft of Use event on 26 March 2014 at the London College of Fashion.
