Some garments are worn almost daily. They become both a backdrop to - and practical facilitator of - our lives and reflect true resourcefulness. Their features speak of an ethic of extended iterative use.

Not too precious

“It’s a jumper that I’ve worn some times every day especially when I was working at home. So I’ve spent a fair amount of time working on my thesis and wearing this jumper. I would just be at home and so I wanted something that I didn’t mind wearing - or wearing out - not so precious that I save only for special occasions. And I’ve worn it so much that it’s got holes in the elbows and then because I wanted to keep wearing it, it’s has been patched..."
