Garment Co-operation

Some garments require a wearer's involvement for them to work well on the body. Others act together differently: using physical form and structure to co-operate with life. They aid and abet and mould our world.

Pants as office

"My pants [trousers] are my office; everything is where I need them to be. I can find all my stuff in the dark and when I’m in a hurry. I have to carry pens, paper, camera chips, sometimes my lunch when I’ve got to be up in the hills. I can get everything into my pants that I need. I have lip-balm, I have two knives, I have my wallet, I have my keys…"
