An international fashion research project exploring the 'craft of use'

Garment Co-operation

Some garments require a wearer's involvement for them to work well on the body. Others act together differently: using physical form and structure to co-operate with life. They aid and abet and mould our world.

Portable pockets

"I call these portable pockets. For a girl on the go, such as, myself… I could put anything in these pockets. I have tape, I put my watercolours and my brushes, I can fit my sketchpad in here. I love this because I can wear it over jeans but I can also wear it over a dress and it looks great and it’s made with a minimal amount of fabric. …I love how functional it is… they’re deep pockets…"
