See Things Differently

Garments are both material and message. They cover us up – and reveal us – physically and emotionally. They hold potential to alter how we feel and how we see things, which in turn, change the things we see.

Smile with me

"I bought this jumper quite recently. I was feeling kind of rubbish on the day when I bought it and it’s got, well you can see, it’s got frogs all over it and they’re smiling and it made me smile and feel kind different to before. … and now, every time I put it on, people always say to me ‘I love that jumper’, they always kind of go ‘oh, that’s such a brilliant jumper’. I think it’s just something about it, there’s something completely happy and open about it… And, you know, I guess it takes more than a jumper to make that the case but it’s unusual for me that I think an item of clothing really alters the way you feel and alters the way other people feel."
